The National Young Farmers Coalition's (NYFC) mission is to shift power and change policy to equitably resource a new generation of working farmers. This is a national group that has state-level chapters. We are members of our local chapter, the New Connecticut Farmer Alliance (NCTFA). As we’ve developed our farm we have relied on NCTFA’s great resources including their “bucket list” for beginning farmers, their listserv, and their advocacy for new farmers in the state.
